Hows everyone doing today? I just got done doing the rainbow meditation and it did make me more comfortable, grounded and at peace, it was very relaxing. I like doing these projects before I start my homework, everything comes a little easier and I am able to focus and get the work done better. On a scale from 1-10 I will give myself a solid 7 on physical, mental and spiritual well being. Now to improve upon that I will get back to working out less, sounds funny I know but I work out to much and am plaqued with over training injuries. On the spiritual side I will seek my creators will more instead of putting my wants first. As for the mental side I will use these relaxing methods a little more and get a better start on the day and to keep me centered on what is important both in my life and those around me.

ReplyDeleteYou make perfect sense when you said you will back out a bit on the working out or training due to injuries. I personally love to workout and I to had to fin a balance. I used to be paid to workout and when that stopped I did not, and had to learn a find balance.

I like the rainbow meditation to. It is one of the best ones from this class. It is easy to follow and do no matter what your skill level in meditation. I get the working out less thing too. However, I doing the opposite. I need to work out more. I did start my routine back up this morning. I hope I am back on the band wagon. :) Wish me luck.

ReplyDeleteI found your comment about cutting back on your exercising very enlightening. I think you've realized that too much isn't always a good thing adn I commend you for that. I also like your idea about relaxing or meditating before homework...if you've read my blog from Unit 2, you'll see I have issues with doing them too late and falling asleep halfway through! You are doing a great thing for yourself by expanding your spiritual learning and wish you the best. I am also on a journey to expand my mind-body-soul relationships and am looking forward to a calm, simple existence.
